Marking our 60th anniversary, the Hamburg Players were proud to host the European amateur theatre festival FEATS (Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies) at Altonaer Theater from 6 to 9 June 2025.

Four nights of one-act plays, performed in English by 12 groups from all over mainland Europe - FEATS is a celebration of the artform of theatre and of the community it creates.

At the same time, FEATS is also a competitive theatre festival, as all of the productions are critically watched by an invited adjudicator, in our case: Ben Humphrey, who appraised all 12 productions, and on the last night, handed out the festival awards. As FEATS is hosted in a different city every year, we also handed over the baton for 2026 to AATG from The Hague.
