Ripcord is a bit like The Odd Couple in that it centres around two characters who couldn’t be more different from one another. Abby and Marilyn, residents in a seniors’ living facility, are forced to share a room. While misanthropic Abby would rather prefer to live alone, her new roommate Marilyn turns out to be bubbly, bright, and almost unbearably cheerful. What ensues is a satirical battle for control, ranging from witty to slaptick-y, which deals with people's expectations of what it means to grow old in twenty-first century America.

Performance dates are from 19 February to 1 March 2025. The production will be directed by Mathilde Berry.
